15mm FOW Objective Marker

A quick objective marker I put together. The components are left-over bits and pieces from the PSC's 250/1 Halftrack kit, their Panzer IVs and some Old Glory fuel drums. The quality and variety of stowage pieces you get with the PSC kits is really fantastic - I couldn't possibly use them all. Part of me feels the scene needs a campfire or something but this would seem a little stupid given the piles of fuel drums and ordnance nearby...

The sitting figures are halftrack crew.

The sandbags are just a quick green stuff job achieved by rolling green stuff into little fast sausages, stacking them, and then using a sculpting tool to emphasise the gaps and press them a little flatter. I still haven't quite got the hang of making them look exactly like sandbags - they need to be squarer and more saggy - but they're half-way there and look fine when painted up.

I'm planning on giving this a lick of paint when I get sick of painting panzergrenadiers (one platoon down, one to go).

  2. Don't you just love leftovers! Me and 'the boy' are just putting our first BGK lists together (before the shopping spree). They are top of his list.

Just moved in 15mm toy soldiers - love the guides.
